We refer to the above captioned matter.
We write to inform Owners and Residents of Danau Permai Condominium that the elected Council of the Management Corporation is and have been working towards improving the security, amenities and the best possible outlook of the condominium, aimed at improving the value of the property.
To achieve the main objective, the Council has, during its first year in office:
· installed the centralized water filtration system
· installed CCTV system for the premises
· upgraded the gymnasium
· upgraded and repaired the tennis courts
· rectified the fish pond’s water filtration and circulation system
In the second year of office, the Council has so far completed the architectural improvement works which includes the following:
· refurbishment of ground floor lift lobby
· construction of a new link-way from the car-park to the main building
· construction of a new reflexology park
· construction of new staff toilets
As you are also aware, the Councils now embarking on repainting of the entire facade of the building which is currently scheduled to commence in early September 2009, and this may take 4 months to complete. Before its commencement, we will seek feedback from the Owners and Residents on the new color scheme. We shall also update Owners and Residents on the progress of the same, from time to time.
Once the repainting works are completed, the Council plans to implement the residents access cards which is aimed at further improving security and safety of our premises. Finally the council plans to improve the features of the security guard house as well as the landscaping of our Danau Permai Condominium.
As highlighted above, and as you have noticed, so much attention and efforts have been put up by the Council during the performance of their first two years in office, solely for the benefit use and enjoyment of the Owners and Residents of Danau Permai Condominium. We would also like to take this opportunity to seek owners and residents’ cooperation to refrain from repainting the external wall of the building, as well as hanging clothes at the balcony.
We trust that our vision towards making Danau Permai Condominium a better place to live in is shared by all Owners and Residents. It is only by having this understanding that we can achieve a harmonious living community within our premises.

Will there be an upgrade of the car park space for Danau? I am aware of the ballot system that happens in year end. In the previous years, are the allocated spaces enough for all who ballots? Do we need 16 visitors car park? Can it be reduced to 10? Can any of the owners please share their thoughts?
I think there can still be improvements made to increase the number of parking space. For example, I see a brown Morris (if not mistaken) parked new the visitor’s car park, in front of Block 12 for the longest time. The car is rusty, all tires flat and covered in dust. Clearly this is car is left abandoned and due to the junkyard. It doesn’t deserve wasting a good parking space. Moreover, it is such an eyesore to our beloved condo and I pity the car that is parked next to it with the risk of rust spreading to it.
Management and Building Manager, if you are reading this, hope you can investigate and inform the owner.
When will the repainting work commence actually?… The algae-infested wall in each block cause much losses to our condos value. Exterior counts!
